I'm here because I apparently need to save this stupid race that killed itself off through stupidity. Because of this, I had most of the keys for the Temple before the end of the game hit, I WANTED to go investigate stuff.Ģ on the other hand has none of that.
X68000 EMULATOR VSYNC UPGRADE
I spent most of my time after getting an upgrade just trying it on stuff, because who knows what it could lead to. Like I'd find something, and suddenly open up all these paths back to where I had been, which allowed me to explore all these old places I'd gone before. The best part was the game encouraged exploration though. Bosses were pretty easy overall, but there was a few roadbumps along the way. By the end of the game I felt like Samus Aran, and felt -powerful. Everything I fought felt like it belonged on that planet, and all the upgrades felt unique and tied to the experience. I'm lost on this planet and need to figure out whats going on to get back out. Is it just me, or does Metroid Prime 2 kind of suck?ġ was this amazing experience. When (and if) they get cracked, which might be years from now.

Even if the GPU was documented, you'd still need a system that's fairly heftier than the actual Xbox to get around all the architectural differences, though at this point I guess that would no longer be an issue.Īnd yes, the PS4 and Xbone would be in that same boat. The GPU is still a complete mystery and Xbox emulation will never go anywhere until that thing is reasonably documented.
X68000 EMULATOR VSYNC PC
The only thing that the Xbox has in common with a PC is the x86 CPU, and that's only half the work. The Xbox is an off-the-shelf Pentium II or III CPU (forgot), with a custom GeForce GPU which nobody has a fucking clue how it works, doesn't run Windows (obviously) and probably has a bunch of specialized chips for audio and such, shared memory, and all the other small things that set apart a PC from a console. The aforementioned Taito boards are literally PCs, with off-the-shelf parts, and they run some flavor of windows XP, so all the games made for it are already win32 applications.

Just FYI, the Taito Type X and X2 boards aren't quite the same as an Xbox. Is there any way to map this, is this an upcoming feature, or is my controller just not supported? The A, B, R1, Start, and probably D-PAD (since it was mappable, but it didn't work to control movement in say Super Mario 64, so I haven't tested it yet) all seem to work correctly, but Joystick, C Buttons, and Z are not detected in the emulator, nor is there an apparent way to map all of these additional buttons.

How would someone map to the new Nintendo 64 core on Android? I use an iPega Bluetooth Controller, and RetroArch supports it for all emulator cores, except the Mupen64Plus core it seems. Does anybody know what I am doing incorrectly? I have tried placing my bios in the "ROMS" folder, and tried using the setting to choose a custom folder, but still black screens. Without the bios files, games like Castlevania - Symphony of the Night work perfectly, and Metal Slug X at least has video (but no audio). I don't know if it is because it autoselects the wrong regional bios files, or something much more complicated, but I just get a black screen. However, Playstation emulation on both cores simply refuse to work so long as bios files are detected. >I am using RetroArch on my Samsung Galaxy SIII (that I have been overclocking if it makes any significant difference), and for the most part everything is going smoothly. Quote from message in case thread dies before answer. Does anybody know the default "System" directory? Perhaps it is because of when I use custom directory, it removes access to other important files under the "System" catagory. /lgbt/ - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender.
